This month several new drugs were introduced on the Canadian market:
- Avapritinib (Ayvakyt) is a medication used for the treatment of advanced systemic mastocytosis and indolent systemic mastocytosis.
- Lisocabtagene maraleucel (Breyanzi) is a cell-based gene therapy used to treat B-cell lymphomas, including follicular lymphoma.
- Danicopan (Voydeya) is a medication used for the treatment of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria.
Several drugs were discontinued:
- tecovirimat (Tpoxx)
- obiltoxaximab (Anthim)
